She was often called upon to educate legislators, the department of health and the California Medical Association on the scope of training of ND’s in the quest to fully integrate naturopathic medicine into the California healthcare system. Dr. Mazza also served as a medical consultant for the well-known San Diego Whole Foods Market. She is currently pursuing education in biodynamic agriculture and plans to create a farm based healthy learning center.

As a clinician, Dr. Mazza believes in educating and empowering her patients to understand their illness in an effort to raise awareness of their powerful healing vital force. She provides expert diagnostic skills and guidance while collaborating with the patient to find what works best for each individual. She often explores the emotional aspect to identify and conquer whatever challenges the healing process. Dr. Mazza has specialized knowledge in the areas of gastroenterology, infectious disease, neurology and autoimmune disorders.
